Terms of Service

Draft legal template: do not publish unchanged. Finalize billing cycles, renewals, refunds, cancellation, uptime/SLA promises, backup obligations, support scope, suspension rules, domain terms, governing law, and upstream-provider requirements.

Last updated: October 6, 2026

1. Services

These terms apply to services provided by BlueLine Hosting, which may include website hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated servers, domain services, website design and development, ecommerce development, migrations, support, and related services.

2. Accounts and Orders

Customers are responsible for providing accurate account information and maintaining appropriate security for account credentials. Orders may be subject to verification, availability, fraud screening, and acceptance.

3. Fees, Billing, and Renewals

Insert your actual billing schedules, accepted payment methods, renewal practices, late-payment handling, taxes, setup charges, and any payment-processing fees here. Recurring services should clearly state whether they renew automatically.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Insert your actual cancellation process and refund policy. Domain registrations, third-party licenses, custom development, setup work, and dedicated resources may require different treatment from standard hosting.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for the content and activity associated with their services, lawful use, maintaining authorized access, complying with software licenses, and following the Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Backups and Data

State exactly what backups BlueLine provides, their frequency, retention, restoration fees if any, and whether customers are also responsible for independent backups. Do not promise backup coverage that your infrastructure does not actually provide.

7. Availability and Maintenance

Document any uptime commitment or SLA only after confirming the terms you can operationally support. Services may be interrupted for maintenance, emergencies, network events, upstream-provider failures, security response, or circumstances outside reasonable control.

8. Support

Define included support, supported software, response targets, emergency handling, managed-service boundaries, and billable administration before launch.

9. Domains

Domain registration and transfer services are also subject to registry, registrar, ICANN, and other applicable rules. Availability and successful registration are not guaranteed until confirmed by the applicable registry/registrar.

10. Website Development

Website projects should be governed by the applicable proposal or statement of work covering scope, revisions, customer-provided content, third-party licenses, payment milestones, ownership, launch, maintenance, and change requests.

11. Suspension and Termination

Services may be suspended or terminated for nonpayment, security risks, unlawful activity, policy violations, abuse, or other grounds specified in the final agreement and Acceptable Use Policy.

12. Limitation of Liability

This section should be reviewed by counsel and aligned with your business entity, insurance, jurisdiction, and service commitments before publication.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

Insert the governing jurisdiction and dispute-resolution terms applicable to BlueLine Hosting.
